What if there was the perfect app that could organize your entire business, hire employees, send invoices, pay bills, manage job sites, communicate with customers, and read your mind while you sip on a margarita in Cancun?
In today’s world, there is always something that appears better just around the corner: “If I only had software that could do "X", my business would be just about perfect.”
While this “perfect technology” doesn’t exist yet, there are incredible tools available that can help you run a more efficient contracting business. The key is to use them properly and consistently.
In this discussion, David’s goal is to provide helpful tips for taking advantage of the latest cloud software, and to show you its practical applications, benefits, and potential. He will also touch on productivity, email, sales, marketing, and customer relationship tools.
Margaritas will, unfortunately, not be provided.

David Chism’s Bio:
David Chism works with over 25 service contractors throughout the United States on a monthly basis. His clients include experts in the industries of bath and kitchen remodeling, roofing, painting, and design-build
construction.
Coming from five generations of painting contractors, you might say David has paint in his blood. He continues to be involved in his family’s residential painting company in San Diego (Chism Brothers Painting) as Head of Business Development using cloud technology.
David and his wife, Joli, moved to Frederick in the fall of 2008 and are enjoying the experience (juggling act?) of raising six kids, including one son and five daughters. Besides being involved in both his local Presbyterian church as a trustee and his kids’ homeschool community, David has carved out time in recent years to pursue his longtime interest in martial arts by studying Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. It’s a lot to grapple with, but he loves it. Dedicating this time to exercising and attending BJJ classes has increased David’s energy and motivation, allowing him to bring fresh focus to the growth and operation of his business.
David’s company, A David Creation, offers marketing management, online marketing services, graphic design, web design, print and promotional services, and consults his clients on how to be more efficient using cloud technology.
